Just as the Acts 2 church met in homes, Harvestfield Church is committed to the power of Christ in the everyday lives of its members. A Home group is a relationship among individuals to pursue Christ together and allow their personal lives to be used for the mission of Christ.
In the context of friendships, home groups are the biblical place for evangelism, discipleship, prayer, fellowship, spiritual gifts, worship, and all the characteristics of authentic community. The home provides the intimacy for relationships that cannot happen at other "meeting" locations. Home groups demonstrate that relationships within the body of Christ are more than just weekly "meetings", homes are about "souls" and relationships.
